Whether you are new to our school community or returning, we welcome you to Nimitz Elementary!
Our PTA mission is to positively impact the lives of all children and families.
You can get involved by donating, becoming a member, volunteering, or all three!
What exactly does PTA do?

PTA provides Nimitz with:

Technology Specialist to work with all grade levels in the computer lab

Art instructor for primary grades

School assembly enrichment performances from professional artists
-
Science Camp and other field trip contributions
-
Classroom budget supplements
-
Library budget supplements
-
Community-building events such as Harvest Festival, Multicultural Festival, Walk-a-thon Carnival, Pumpkin Patch, among others.
Nimitz PTA works hard fundraising to maintain these key programs which are not or no longer supported through the California State School Funds program. Without these funds, we cannot continue our level of support for Nimitz and our children.
