The Nimitz PTA works tirelessly to raise funds that support essential programs no longer funded by the State of California or the District. Without your support, we cannot continue to offer these valuable and enriching experiences at the current level for our students and school community.

We kindly suggest a donation of $300 for the first student and $100 for each additional student, but any amount is greatly appreciated.

 

Please donate what you can - every donation makes a difference! Our goal is 100% participation in the Direct Donation Fundraiser!

What your support does for our students:​
​

  • Art instructor for all grades TK-5th

  • Helps fund Recess 101 for all students 

  • School assembly enrichment performances from professional artists

  • Contributes to Science Camp fund and other field trips

  • Supplements classroom budgets

  • Supplements library budget

  • Promotes community spirit through events such as Harvest Festival, Multicultural Festival, Walk-a-thon Carnival, Pumpkin Patch, Family Science Night, After School Care and Movie, among others.

Is direct donation amount is tax deductible?

Yes!

Nimitz PTA is recognized as a registered 501(c)(3) charity by the IRS and as such donations are tax deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes.

Nimitz PTA raises funds needed to run and maintain key programs to benefit our students that are not or no longer supported through the California State School Funds program. Unfortunately, if we don't raise enough funds, we won't be able to continue our level of support for Nimitz and our children.
